Draw held in Hamilton Thursday evening by Mark Webster:
Peter Wright v Daniel Snookes Dimitri van den Bergh v Mark Cleaver Michael Smith v Jeremy Fagg Luke Humphries v Kayden Milne Gerwyn Price v Ben Robb Rob Cross v Haupai Puha Luke Littler v Jonny Tata Damon Heta v Simon Whitlock
The draw for the Hamilton Darts has seen the two Australian World Cup winners matched against each other as Damon Heta and Simon Whitlock have been paired in the final match of the evening. The night will open with the only World Series of Darts debutant, Daniel Snookes, going up against the man that returned to some good form in Wollongong last week, none other than Peter Wright. D{NZ number one Mark Cleaver will then go up against former youth World Champion and current UK Dart open champion, Dimitri van den Bergh. The third match of the night sees former World Champion Michael Smith take on the DPA number one player Jeremy Fagg. Current World Champion Luke Humphries then steps up to the oche against Kayden Milne. Milne famously defeated Fallon Sherrock in his first ever World Series of Darts match. The second half of the night sees Gerwyn Price take on Ben Robb. Both players graced the stage of the Ally Pally in December last year with differing success. Another two players who stood on the same stage in the same month last year were the next two combatants. Resuming their battle from Wollongong, Haupai Puha will be looking to get one over Cross after his comeback was halted at the last by the Englishman. Current World Youth as well as Premier League Champion Luke Littler will join the fray in the second last match, going up against Jonny Tata. The Kiwi defeated Peter Wright in the opening round last year and will be looking to improve on that this year. Then the two Aussie darting legends line up against each other, not only looking to win the World Series but also take home the Kyle Anderson Memorial trophy.
